Excellent work carried out by SC MAINTENANCE in my garden this week !
And in particular, first class , friendly service by Jonathan, for preparing and installing my new garden gate, and installing concrete spur/ post to my fence to straighten it out.
I do, on this particular occasion knock off one star, purely as nobody turned up to start work on the original date planned , due to staff issues.
This wouldn't normally have been a problem, but would have liked to have been notified that morning , rather than be sat around waiting to find nobody would show up.
Apart from that one gripe, can I recommend Williams team???

The team came to replace a fence for my mother, to remove the old one and take it away. I couldn’t be there that day and mum is 87 so I was keen to be contacted if need be. This is the second time that I have used Will, this time for the outside of my pond and to relay the slabs. They had just started when they came upon a problem meaning they couldn't do what was originally planned. However, Will came up with a solution, got more materials and by the end of the day, I had a great surround on my pond & slabs that didn't move.
I am so pleased with it, and if anything it looks better than what was originally there.

About our damp & mould treatment service
Mould is rarely just a cleaning problem. It grows where warm, moist air meets a cold surface and stays damp, which is why it turns up behind wardrobes, in window reveals, on bathroom ceilings and in the corners of north-facing bedrooms. We clean and treat the affected areas properly and then look at why it formed, so you have a realistic plan to stop it coming back.

Black spots on ceilings and corners
Usually condensation collecting on the coldest parts of a room, often where the wall meets the ceiling or an outside corner.
Mould around windows
Moisture runs down cold glass and frames at night and soaks into the reveal and sill. Seals and trickle vents play a part.

A weak or missing extractor fan, or a fan that isn't used long enough after a shower, leaves moisture sitting on walls and grout.

Will the mould come back?
It can if the conditions stay the same. Better ventilation, extractor fans and heating habits make a big difference, and we'll give you practical advice.
Do you deal with rising damp or leaks?
We treat mould and advise on ventilation. If we see signs of a leak or structural damp, we'll tell you so you can get the right specialist.
Should I just bleach it?
Bleach often only removes the colour. A proper mould wash and dealing with the cause works better. See our guide to getting rid of black mould.
What's the difference between condensation and damp?
Condensation forms when moist indoor air hits a cold surface. Other types of damp come from water getting in, for example from leaks, overflowing gutters or problems at ground level. Mould from condensation is the most common kind we're asked about.
Can you paint over mould?
Not straight away. The mould needs cleaning and treating first, otherwise it grows back through the new paint. An anti-mould paint can help once the surface has been treated.
